For example, after a cooking activit...y, children independently help staff to clear away utensils and wipe down the tables.Children are aware of the rules of the after-school club and follow them consistently. For example, children know to alert staff before leaving the room to wash their hands or play in the outdoor area.

Children are encouraged to develop a good understanding of healthy lifestyles. They enjoy a variety of nutritious meals and snacks. Children also have access to a large, safe outdoor area.
