This provision is outstanding • The management team is ambitious, highly committed and demonstrates a strong drive to promote the best outcomes for children. The manager highly values the staff team and provides excellent systems of support and performance management.

Professional development of the staff team is sharply focused and helps to maintain the exceptional quality of teaching already in place. • Children's communication and language skills are exceptional. From a very young age, children become confident and articulate speakers who show excellent listening skills and a broad vocabulary.

Children make excellent progress in all areas of learning. • Staff have a d...eep understanding of the impact of the physical environment and every effort has been made to create a bright, vibrant and stimulating play space. The preschool room has been transformed into the story of 'The Three Little Pigs'.

There is a wealth of opportunities for children to recall their learning, re-enact the story and, with outstanding support from staff, create their own endings to the traditional story. • The key-person system is extremely effective in helping children form highly secure attachments, greatly promoting their emotional and physical well-being and firm confidence to explore. Children display wonderful social skills.

They inquisitively ask questions to visitors to the nursery and invite them to join in with their play. • Staff accurately assess children's learning and, together with information from parents, create plans to enhance children's knowledge. Parents are highly valued as co-educators and are widely involved in all aspects of their children's learning.

• Monitoring of children's progress is rigorous and swiftly identifies where children may be slow to develop key skills. As a result, specific programmes of support are implemented. Monitoring shows the exceptional progress made by all children, particularly those in receipt of funding.
