This provision is goodnStaff provide a range of interesting and exciting activities, which mean that children behave well and are fully engaged. nChildren enjoy taking part in ring games and are motivated to sing traditional nursery rhymes such as 'Hokey Cokey'.nStaff are warm and caring; they take great efforts to form good attachments with children in each key group.

Children settle well, feel confident to make friends and are helpful to each other.nStaff model activities well, therefore children feel proud and are confident learners.nThe setting is highly inclusive, and leaders work extensively to provide additional support to families who have children with special educational... needs (SEN).

nParents are happy with the care and support that the setting provides. However, staff do not always share feedback about how children get on during each session. nSafeguarding is effective.

Leaders have robust systems in place, which means that staff know how to identify children who may be at risk of harm or abuse.nThe new team manager has developed a thorough self-evaluation system, and uses this information to take into account the views of all staff, parents and children.nStaff have a wealth of knowledge and experience which they use to help children understand phonics.

nLeaders value staff and consequently they feel happy and fulfilled in their roles. nLeaders also recognise the importance of regular professional development and work in partnership with the local authority to plan relevant training. However, they do not use this effectively to help staff deliver planned activities.
