The provision is good • Children develop close and trusting relationships with staff, which helps to support their emotional needs. Staff work hard to create a warm, home from home environment for children.

• Before children start to attend staff find out important information about their personal needs. This helps to ensure that the care they provide is tailored to meet each child's individual requirements. • Staff promote children's health well.

They have fun playing with their friends and taking part in outdoor activities that help to nurture their physical development. • Parents report that their children settle into the club quickly. They describe the staff as lovel...y, very helpful and caring.

Parents talk about how happy their children are to be attending and that the food staff provide is good. • Ongoing self-evaluation is carried out, taking account of everyone's views. Staff report that their ideas are valued and improvements are made as a result of this.

Changes include the addition of a shed and water play activities for use in hot weather. It is not yet outstanding because: • On occasion, staff do not give children the time they need to persevere at tasks and work things out for themselves. • At times, children do not have enough opportunities to make independent choices about their play.
