Summary of key findings for parents

The provision is good • Managers monitor staff effectively.

They encourage them to gain new skills or qualifications to improve knowledge and understanding of children's development. Recent training on planning for learning has supported staff to plan activities that meet children's needs well. Children make good progress in their development.

• Staff build strong partnerships with parents and other professionals. They regularly share information, use children's experiences from home, and act on advice from others to enhance children's individual learning well. Children benefit from consistent care tailored to their needs • Staff make excellent use of the local community... and services to provide different experiences for the children.

Children gain confidence in different social situations and develop good self-esteem. • Staff provide good role models for the children. They offer reminders about sharing well and to use words rather than actions when children want the toys.

Children's behaviour is good. It is not yet outstanding because: • On occasion, the learning environment is particularly noisy and distracts some children's learning. • Staff do not consistently help children understand what is expected of them during daily routines, such as when it is tidy-up time.
