This provision is outstanding • The manager and her deputy have many years of experience in childcare. They are highly successful in supporting the staff team and in continually improving the service they provide. Strong reflective practice identifies areas they can improve even further.

• Well-established systems are in place to enable staff to reflect on their own practice and skills, and to identify where and how they can improve. Staff's professional development is given high priority. Training is frequently accessed through attending courses and staff meetings that focus on specific topics, such as wider safeguarding issues.

• Children make extremely strong progress... in relation to their starting points. The sharply focused planning ensures that gaps in children's learning are identified without delay. Children relish the superb range of experiences on offer that capture their natural curiosity as learners.

Children receive a huge amount of support from staff, who appropriately reduce their support as individual children's confidence and abilities build and flourish. • Partnerships with parents are exceptionally good. Managers place a huge emphasis on working together with parents to ensure the best outcomes for all children who attend.

Parents who have been using this provision for over eight years, describe it as a wonderful service that they could not do without. • The staff team is extremely knowledgeable about how to promote children's health and well-being. Staff's understanding of safeguarding is comprehensive; they know exactly what they need to do if they have a concern about a child in their care and take immediate action.
