The provision is outstanding • The highly qualified staff team work together exceptionally well to plan and provide highly stimulating activities for children.

Children make outstanding progress. • Parents hold the pre-school in the highest regard. They are resounding in their praise of the provider, staff and high-quality care and teaching.

Parents talk very positively about the way the provider enhances their lives, supporting them emotionally as well as their child. • Staff promote children's language and literacy skills exceptionally well. Children talk confidently to each other, staff and visitors.

In addition, children keenly retell favourite stories and c...hoose to sing songs on the outdoor stage. • Children show a keen interest in mathematics as they play. At snack time, they talk about the pear being larger than the satsuma and while pretending to shop, they count the carrots and compare their size.

• Children are very confident, articulate and self-assured. They are exceptionally well behaved and keen to learn. They persevere with tasks and are becoming resilient learners in readiness for school.

• Staff effectively promote children's physical skills and knowledge of how to live a healthy life. This includes teaching children how to blow their noses and dispose of tissues hygienically. • The highly qualified management team has a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
