This provision is outstanding • The management team has an extremely clear vision for the future development of the nursery. Staff share the management's sense of purpose and are strongly committed to reaching the highest standards in all aspects of the work.

• Managers make excellent use of training and research opportunities to support staff's professional development and enrich the nursery's provision. Staff take their roles as curriculum and provision leaders, such as the Outdoor Champion and the French Champion, very seriously and constantly update staff on new initiatives and developments. • Children achieve extremely well from their individual starting points.

Sta...ff thoroughly assess and review children's progress to ensure all groups of learners achieve their full potential. Children are fully prepared for the next stage in their learning, including starting school. • Staff are outstanding role models.

They consistently encourage children to develop their independence and self-confidence. Children learn to behave very well and to be considerate towards others. • Staff plan imaginative and exciting activities to engage and motivate children.

For example, children extend many skills through the exciting range of forest school activities in the nearby Botanical Gardens. • The staff work in close partnership with parents, who hold them in high regard.
