Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is good Leaders have taken prompt and decisive action to address the concerns raised at the last inspection. They have acted on guidance from the local authority and implemented an effective action plan to raise the quality of nursery practice.

They have made significant progress in raising standards of care and learning, and demonstrate a strong capacity to continue to improve. Teaching is consistently good and at times outstanding. Staff are enthusiastic in their work and demonstrate high expectations for children.

They plan a wide range of stimulating learning experiences which engages children in purposeful activities. Staff encourage children to think... and develop their own ideas. All children make good progress.

Parents are very positive about the nursery. They state they are well informed about their child's progress and that they know what their children need to do next in their learning. Children build strong bonds with staff and demonstrate that they feel safe and secure in their care.

For instance, babies know who their key person is. Staff are attentive to children's needs and they sensitively offer reassurance should children feel upset. It is not yet outstanding because: Staff do not consistently provide enough opportunities for children to use their first language in their play.
