This provision is good • Staff work well together and provide good-quality care for children and their families. Staff have a good understanding of safeguarding procedures to protect children. • Children's behaviour is good, and the nursery environment is calm and purposeful.

Staff are positive role models, and children understand what is expected of them and why. • Children have developed secure bonds with their key person and are happy to come into nursery. They demonstrate high levels of self-confidence and self-esteem.

• Strong partnerships between the nursery and children's families effectively support children's care and learning. Staff have regular chats with pare...nts to share information about their child's daily routines and learning. Parents comment positively about the nursery and the progress their children are making.

• Staff have a good knowledge of the early years foundation stage. They make regular observations and assessments on children's achievements and interests. They use this information to plan for the next steps in learning.
