Children show secure progress, giving their starting points in learning.nStaff know about children's interests and talents and plan opportunities to expand their knowledge and skills through play. Children enjoy interesting discussions with staff and with their peers.

nChildren settle well and those who find it harder to settle, benefit from their key person's full attention. Children soon feel confident and happy. Staff promptly reassure and comfort them.

nStaff have ongoing support, trai...ning and supervision meetings with the manager. They are confident about their roles and duties. The manager closely monitors the quality of teaching and the progress that children make.

She ensures that staff have continuous opportunities for professional development to learn new skills.nThere are secure procedures to manage the safety of the premises. Staff are attentive to minimising risks and hazards and teach children about keeping safe during play and routines.

Children take part in ongoing outings and learn to keep safe outside.nAt times, staff do not organise routines and movements between activities well enough to minimise disruption to some of the children's learning. nThere is capacity to further extend the developing partnerships with parents to ensure that they have more opportunities to be involved in the experiences that children have at nursery.
