This provision is goodnSince the last inspection the manager has worked closely with the provider, area manager and local authority adviser to address any weaknesses. This has had a positive impact on staff and children's learning.

The manager and staff accurately identify priorities for improvements. They plan targets to help outcomes for children.nStaff work in partnership with parents and ensure that their child's needs are well known and met throughout the day.

Parents have good relationships with their child's key person. They receive thorough information about their child's daily routines and the activities they have enjoyed. nChildren thrive in this welcoming, stim...ulating environment.

They build positive relationships with staff and their peers. As a result, children feel safe and secure, and demonstrate high levels of confidence and well-being. nThe manager and staff have developed close partnerships with the local schools and other external agencies, to ensure that all children receive a consistent approach to their learning and development.

nStaff provide valuable home-learning opportunities to engage parents in their child's development, such as activity ideas for home learning and stay-and-play sessions, which are well attended. nSome children become distracted and are not always fully engaged during large-group activities.nAt times, staff do not always consider how children of different ages can be fully involved and challenged to the highest level when taking part in planned activities together.
