This is an outstanding school The headteacher's relentless commitment to securing excellent outcomes for all pupils has ensured that the school has improved since its last inspection.

The school serves those pupils whose needs or backgrounds leave them potentially vulnerable to underachievement exceptionally well. Pupils who arrive at the school with little English, those from disadvantaged backgrounds and pupils who have special educational needs and/ or disabilities make outstanding progress from their starting points. The quality of teaching is consistently high.

Senior and middle leaders use exceptional skills to challenge and support teachers to continuou...sly strive to improve further. The proportion of pupils working at greater depth is increasing rapidly. Leaders recognise the need to ensure that teachers have the skills and knowledge to stretch and challenge these pupils even more effectively.

The curriculum is exciting. It covers a broad range of excellent opportunities to strengthen pupils' skills and understanding across a wide range of subjects. Pupils' conduct and attitudes to learning are exemplary.
