This is a good school Since opening in September 2014, the quality of education provided by the school has improved significantly. Leaders at all levels are highly capable and ambitious.

They provide staff with excellent support that has reinvigorated teaching throughout the school. Pupils are well behaved and show great respect for adults and each other. They work hard in lessons and show positive attitudes to learning.

Governors know the school well and challenge leaders to improve outcomes even further. Teachers set work that matches pupils' starting points. They offer pupils useful and insightful feedback on how to improve their work.

Pupils acros...s the school make strong progress. Support for pupils who have special educational needs and/or disabilities is highly effective. Leaders and teachers work closely to identify, plan for and support pupils.

As a result, these pupils make rapid progress. Disadvantaged pupils receive high-quality, personalised support before, during and after lessons. These pupils are making much more rapid progress.

Nevertheless, disadvantaged pupils' progress needs to accelerate further so more pupils attain at the highest standards. Pupils' skills and understanding in English and mathematics are secure. Pupils enjoy a wide and varied curriculum.

However, standards of writing in foundation subjects are not as high as those seen in English. High-quality teaching in Reception ensures that pupils make a strong start to their education.
