Summary of key findings for parents and pupils

This is an outstanding school Leaders and governors are promoting pupils' sustained strong progress as the school continues to expand. Leaders evaluate the school's effectiveness precisely and accurately.

They use information about pupils' progress exceptionally well to set priorities for improvement. Leaders recognise that the development of subject leadership must remain a priority. Governors have a powerful impact on sustaining the quality of leadership and challenging leaders to continue to develop the school's capacity as it grows.

Leaders have established consistently high-quality teaching and have pursued a very effective recruitment strategy as the sch...ool has grown. Teachers and support staff demonstrate consistently excellent skills in helping pupils of all abilities to sustain strong progress in reading, writing and mathematics. The proportion of pupils working at greater depth in reading, writing and mathematics increases as they pass through the school.

The curriculum is implemented particularly effectively to help pupils build deep knowledge across the range of subjects taught. Pupils' acquisition of skills specific to particular subjects is a little more variable. The school supports pupils' personal development very well.

Pupils understand and share the school's values. Provision for pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is enriched by a broad range of experiences and activities which deepen their understanding of British values. Pupils behave well and develop a strong work ethic.

Leaders responsible for the early years ensure that teaching enables children to make sustained progress. Interesting, well-managed activities enable children to develop secure basic skills and positive attitudes which prepare them very well for Year 1. Parents, carers, staff and pupils are overwhelmingly positive about the school's work, including its contribution to safeguarding and attendance.
