Children learn the importance of being physically active to support a healthy lifestyle. During an exercise session, they confidently do star jumps and practise squats. After rigorous exercises, children relax while staff take them through a gentle yoga session.

The environment is inclusive because staff are skilled at encouraging all children to join in, which supports their sense of belonging.

Children feel respected by staff, who listen to and value their opinions. This creates a sense of appreciation. During the welcome session, children talk about the club rules which they have helped to create.

Interesting discussions take place about how negative behaviour can impact on others. Children take turns to explain what the rules mean to them, such as why it is not safe to share food. Staff listen to children's views and use the opportunity to re-enforce key safety messages.

As a result, children behave well within a harmonious environment.
