They greet the staff with wide smiles and immediately engage in thoughtful conversations with them. Children who feel anxious are immediately reassured by the caring staff, who talk to them and help them to settle. Children have formed positive relationships with each other and with the nurturing staff.

Younger children enjoy playing games outside with the older children. Children of all ages benefit from these interactions. Children demonstrate that they feel happy and safe.

Children enjoy exploring the range of resources and activities accessible to them in this well-org...anised club. They confidently access the indoor and outdoor areas and spend long periods of time at each chosen activity. Children watch in awe as staff mix colours in water.

They eagerly use this water to create printed patterns. Children delight in swirling ribbons in the wind as they run outside. Children are highly engaged in their play.

Children are aware of the expectations of the club and follow these consistently. They independently follow the embedded routines of the club and consistently show respect for each other. Children play cooperatively, taking turns and sharing resources.

When they have finished an activity, they carefully tidy the resources away without any prompting from staff. Children's behaviour is exemplary.

The manager has a clear vision for the club and is passionate about providing high-quality care.

She improves the quality of the provision over time through effective coaching and mentoring of staff. For example, she ensures that all staff receive feedback on their practice and access training to develop their skills. Staff morale is high and their well-being is supported.

Staff carefully adapt their provision and plan activities that link to children's interests. For example, children jump with excitement as staff suggest an activity that they have previously enjoyed. Children proudly show visitors their artwork that is on display.

All children engage in stimulating and fun activities during their time at the club.Children enjoy being physically active the club. They run at speed and initiate games with their friends.

Children practise their sports skills as they kick balls to each other and spin hoops around their waists. Access to these opportunities supports children to lead healthy, active lifestyles.The manager of the club has developed a strong partnership with the host school.

Leaders ensure that safe recruitment and vetting procedures are in place to check the suitability of all staff.
